Fire Alarm Systems
Vickery Electric’s history with the installation of Fire Alarms goes back to the 1930s. John W Vickery, Vickery Electric’s founder, was one of Ontario’s first certified fire alarm technicians, having attained certification in the Dayton, Ohio in 1932.
Today, Vickery Electric conducts 100% testing of all fire alarm system equipment as per CAN/ULC S536 standards, ensuring that every component of the fire alarm system has been activated, investigated and tested to ensure proper operation and annunciation at the fire alarm panel. Every electrician at Vickery Electric is also a certified Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) Fire Alarm Technician.
Vickery Electric also has a qualified and experienced installation division, which handles fire alarm panel replacements and installations, wiring upgrades and coordination of third party verification for all work completed. We offer complete turn-key solutions inclusive of any required engineering drawings.
And, for all fire alarm system work, Vickery Electric produces reports to allow our clients to maintain current system certification and confidence that their fire alarm system is in complete accordance with provincial fire code requirements.
